In my inaugural 12 months at WealthAbility®, I spearheaded the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies for three pivotal corporate events. The initial two events targeted CPAs, offering transformative training and serving as a lead magnet for introducing them to the WealthAbility® system. Notably, the November CPA event became the most attended in company history, setting the stage for another groundbreaking achievement—the December client appreciation event held at a luxurious 5-star resort in Scottsdale, AZ.

These events, marked by record-breaking attendance and sponsorships, saw a meticulously crafted promotional strategy encompassing paid advertising on Facebook and LinkedIn, email marketing, affiliate and influencer marketing, public relations, social media engagement, podcast promotion, and marketing automation.

In the subsequent year, a fresh set of events and challenges emerged. The initial focus involved a collaborative industry influencer event schedule, featuring partnerships with accounting influencers for both free and paid training events. These virtual events, strategically structured to provide value in leadership, branding, CPA recruitment, FinTech, and practice management, paved the way for in-person events later in the year.

The influencer/virtual events strategy unfolded in a stairstep fashion, with each event building on the previous and culminating in record-breaking attendance and sponsorships for the in-person events. The marketing initiatives included PR, social media engagement, paid social media advertising, email marketing, Google Ad Network campaigns, and industry publication advertising.

While each marketing effort played a vital role, the true linchpin of success was the exceptional events teams. Their dedication, collaboration, and daily commitment to excellence elevated these events to unprecedented heights. This comprehensive strategy not only achieved remarkable success in attendance and sponsorship but also showcased the collective prowess of the dedicated teams involved
